Before I started my internship at Hi-Vis Woman Australia, I was already quite well versed with Wordpress and Wix, as I have created multiple websites in the past 8 years. It took a lot of tries and research to create a website that one could say was professionally produced.

Throughout my academic journey I learnt that I always have to be able to put myself in other peoples shoes. As a website developer I found it very useful, as I could produce a website according to the view that my client wanted me to implement, and this fuels my want for success. This drove me to do in developing my skills through doing online research and watching tutorials on YouTube.

As I was on the WordPress platform often, I learnt to be always aware of features and plugins, as you should always aim to work smarter. These features will make my life easier, an example of a plugin I utilise is Yoast. This plugin allows me to optimise SEO effectively to the clients' needs. Making sure I stay on top of the plugins also ensures that I will find more innovation ways to change and alter the website layout, as well as track the analytics. Some examples of these plugins that I use is Beaver Builder and Monster Insights.
